HI EVERYONE, I'M A MOM, WIFE OF AN ALCOHOLIC AND A LISTENER TO YOUR PROGRAM. I FIRST HEARD IT ON THE RADIO ON THE WAY HOME FROM MY JOB ON THE NIGHT SHIFT. NOW I LOOK FOWARD TO IT EVERY WEEK. THANK GOD MY SON DOES NOT DO DRUGS OR DRINK BUT HE IS STILL YOUNG (14) SO I KNOW I HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO. MY HUSBAND HAS BEEN DRINKING FOR AROUND 30 YRS I REALLY THINK ITS UP TO HIM AS I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING. I DONT DRINK OR DO DRUGS. I REALLY WANT TO TELL ALL THE YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE GROUP THAT THEY ALL HAVE ALOT MORE GOING FOR THEM THAN THEY THINK. EVERY MINUTE THEY SPEND DOING THE RIGHT THING IS A MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENT AND WHEN THEY GET DOWN IN THE DUMPS OR TEMPTED THEY MUST THINK OF ALL THE GOOD THEY HAVE DONE AND HOW THEY MUST NOT GIVE UP. THEY ARE MAKING A NEW LIFE FOR THEMSELVES AND THE PAST CAN BE A LEARNING EXPERIENCE NOT A SOURCE OF GUILT. AS I LISTEN TO THEM SPEAK ON THE RADIO I REALLY WANT THEM TO BE SUCCESSFUL. IF THE SHOW HAS THIS MUCH OF AN IMPACT ON ME, I AM SURE YOU MUST BE REACHING MANY PEOPLE WHO NEED HELP. PLEASE KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, WITH LOVE FROM A FRIEND.

Hi, my name is Skylar Andrew Stone and I am 18 years old. I am currently in jail and I am having my best friend send this email for me. I have a problem with drugs and I am in jail for breaking into cars. I'm a big fan of your radio show, I listen to it every week and so far it has helped me realize a lot if stuff. Hi guys, quite by accident, on my way to work one Sunday morning , I picked up your audition at about 6:20 in the morning. I think the program is great, I would like to congratulate Jim and the kids for being there at such an early hour to talk about their problems, which are our problems I believe. After all, this is one society we all live in. I am an FIU student and also a bookseller at Barnes & Noble. May be it would be interesting to have an event in our store about this drug-related problem that affect us all, like our yougsters in school age. Congratulations again for your program Jim. I was listening to your show on my way to work and listened to Jessica, who
had a hard time telling the truth about her family, and I would just like to
say that it must be hard to admit the things she has gone through, especially
on the radio, and i would just like to say I glad to see she is getting the
support from all of you, but also to let her know that people listening also
support her and let her know that she will make it through these hard times
and in the end she will see that there is a better life out there!
